I found your proverbs delightful. Have you considered a listing of other very Guyanese expressions. My cousin Bobby Fernandes(Subryanville) has quite a repertoire and is a formidable storyteller. He also has a number of fabulous pictures of the interior a
d also of life in Georgetown..he ahs had several exhibitions, have you considered asking him to participate in your webpage..I believe he would.
My favourite guyanese expression is "Like Noah sen he a letter" as a reference to someone with long pants that don't cover his ankles.
My mother's favourite proverb was "wah don kill is fatten" meaning that there is something good in everything around us.
